The most recent Roadkill episode got me thinking about big FWD powerplants. I honsetly think a build like the Mazda in that episode would be awesome. I’ve even had long conversations about a similar Idea with my Brother in law, but we were thinking a mid engine MK1 Caddy with a 1.9l TDI from a 2000-2003 mk4.
But doing that with a V8 just seems so much more rad, if a bit stupid. However, I think GM has done this more than any other company, From the 74 El Dorado, to the W body SS Impala. I don’t think GM has ever made one with a manual tans, but has any company ever made a FWD V8 car with a Manual trans?

FWD. Manual. V8.

Never seen a factory car like that. But theres a guy on LS1tech that has an LS4 from an Impala, mated to a Pontiac 3.6 G6 manual, swapped into a Fiero.

In Fourtza, you could drop the SC V8 from the Shebly GT 500 into the 05 Focus ST, some parts later and you can have your very own ~900HP FWD hoon-machine.
I have hit 220 plus on the old Mulsanne straight.
Forza 6 only has the LS V8 swap, so my updated version only has ~700HP. It’s still utterly ridiculous to try and drive. You can do a burnout in 6th with race tires.

6’s swaps piss me off.

I like that they have the generic LS swaps for some of the cars people had been asking for, but not having the internal-company swaps now is lame.

I didn’t even think about the second gen SHO. Too bad it was offered with a manual trans from the factory.

2nd gen SHO was a V6, 3rd gens are the V8s with the autotragics only.

Oh yeah. I always forget about the first gen, I thought for a long time that the second gen of the Taurus was the first for the SHO. But yeah the V8 was in the bubble butt third gens, ew.
